how could we NOT throw 2 birthday parties in 1 day for this little chik-a-dee.
the morning brought family, a few close friends, crepes, petit bonbons (munchkins) and as always, lots of hugs & love. thankfully my mom was snapping photos because my camera didn't make it off the counter.
and we were able to take an updated family shot with my side of the fam. an updated shot is tough when peeps keep having babies.
and the obligatory cousin picture outtakes. graham is crying his way to a cupcake in the other room, he joins later.

afternoon came along with another celebration. in came grandma & g-pa followed by mark, kris & liv. there were chipotle burgers, buffalo chicken burgers, cupcakes, and a game of "escape g-pa!!!" oh, and my personal favorite: it's savvy's birthday so let her pull all of the tissues out of the tissue box without stopping her. and she did. my camera stayed cozy on the counter (again!) so documentation of the fun evening is the exhausted 3 little monkeys in jammies before bed. the only thing cuter than kids in jammies is kids in matching jammies.
OH YEAH. and during the 2 parties, 13 kids and 1 bounce house, there was only 1 bloody nose. a successful birthday celebration indeed. chris, i did notice that you didn't bat an eye at blood on your rolex. #proudsister.
