thing is, the futon needed to be up on it's side in order to fit out the door. and then once in the hallway, needed to be lifted over the railing of the stairwell in order to fit in the extra bedroom. and the bed & dresser needed to be moved in that other bedroom in order to fit the futon. then the glider from fal's room needed to make it's way to savvy's room and a slide needed to take the place in fallon's room. top this off with a "helpful" 2 year old and "wants to be held" 7 month old. i'm tired just recapping.
sometimes these girls get their minds set on something and i try to change it. i rush fallon into the house when she wants to explore climbing in & out of her car seat by herself. i try to hand savvy a rattle when she really wants to play with the water bottle that i want to drink from. i rush to put fallon's coat on her so we can get out the door instead of allowing her to "do it myself, mommy" through tears and rushing. i don't get why these girls get something in their heads and cannot be talked out of it!!! ........then i have a night like last night.
we don't have much of an agenda for the afternoon. what IS on the agenda is exploring and taking our time and encouraging my girls to go after what they want. to explore and take too long and remind me to be patient. cause sometimes futons just need to be moved.
then we will probably lay around, watch cartoons & go to sleep. rearranging our second floor is really hard work.
I like to thanks for the information about the Futons..
