No hands!

I never thought our little girl would bump her head SO many times in 1 day. Each day, though, she sets a new record. She is a tough little cookie! She's getting stronger & stronger and braver & braver. She climbs in, on, and over everything. Her enthusiasm is so much fun.

Just recently she combined 2 of her tricks: standing and clapping at the same time. I caught one of the first times she did it on video. The little show-off has only gotten better :) Look, ma, no hands!

9 Months!

I'm pretty sure I say this every month, but I can't believe it's been 9 months since our little cupcake was born. We went for her well visit last week and she came in at 21 lbs 6 oz and 28" long. She has been demoted to the 75th-90th percentile and as my dear friend Michele said: "she looks like she's wasting away to nothing." Right... ;) We love our chubby little bunny more and more everyday. Her charming little personality has made it such that I get to hang out with a little friend all day as opposed to just taking care of a baby. God is so good. Here's what she's been up to:

• Crawling everywhere! I go into the next room and say "C'mon Fal!" and she grins and the sound of her hands slapping the floor gets louder and louder as she approaches.
• Dancing! As soon as she hears a beat, the dancing begins. Usually the body bounces a little bit, followed by some vigorous arm movements. Cutest. thing. ever.
• Babbling lots. We get "Dada" a lot, "Mama" when she's crying, "ball" sort of when she's going to play with Big Shot, and kind of a spitting "thh" when she's pointing at things. Which leads me to...
• Pointing at everything! She is SO curious and wants to touch and feel and lick and smell and be a part of everything.

I have the best job in the world :)

Maggie Jane!!!

So we went to Chicago for my sis-in-law's (Missy) baby shower. It was scheduled for Sunday June 13 at 1:00 pm. MAGGIE JANE, however, did not want to miss the party..... She was born on Sunday June 13 at 12:59 pm!! What a funny little gal already :)

We are so thankful to welcome our healthy, TINY little niece/cousin into the world. She is absolutely beautiful. Welcome Maggie Jane! We are so excited you are here and can't wait for all of the fun memories to come. Congrats Brian and Missy! You are going to be fantastic parents.
